conclave of chiefs

The 9^th Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) Conclave of Chiefs would be held on 20 ^th February 2026. Chiefs of Navies from 42 Countries are expected to participate in the Conclave. The 9 ^th Conclave would see the Chief of the Naval Staff of the Indian Navy assume the Chairmanship of IONS, for the second time since its inception, from the Royal Thai Navy. Maritime issues of common interest to the countries of the Indian Ocean Region would be deliberated during the Conclave.
